Pastors Wife

If I had one prayer at this time, it would be
that my husband cared enough to pray with me
he is so busy helping others
he worries so about his brothers

yet my heart years to hear him say
"I long to pray with you today
you are my friend and lover too
and my heart longs to be with you"

when I ask he says he prays
but, I never see him night or day
I'd love to feel he cares for me
and help me to eternity

I fear these word's I'll never hear
I wait for this though saddened tear
I long to hear my husband say
"my love is stronger because we pray."
